Shot: Islands "Hallways"
Currently in post production on a new music video for the Islands’ song “Hallways”. We’ve been slaving away in post to get the video released in the next week or two. Booked: Microsoft Interactive Project
I’ve teamed up with Microsoft and Digital Kitchen to develop and direct an interactive project using their breakthrough technology. I can’t divulge too much right now, but keep an eye out. More to come…

SHOT: Folgers Commercial
Just got back from shooting a commercial with Saatchi & Saatchi for Folgers coffee in New York a couple weeks ago. With an insane turnaround in post it’s already hitting the airwaves this week. It announces the winner of this year’s Jingle Contest. Keep an eye out for it :)

Back from Tokyo
After two trips to Tokyo to oversee the post production work on the Panasonic spots, I’m back in the US. Once again the Japanese were amazingly hospitable and generous in their time and dedication. The spots should start running worldwide in the coming months. Pictures coming soon.

Jetsetting for more Panasonic Spots
Just got back from a two week stint in London where I shot five spots for Panasonic. Heading out to Tokyo tomorrow for a week of overseeing the final stages of post production and CGI. Photos from both trips should be coming soon…as soon as I get a second free…which could be never :)

"Shake Up Christmas" for Train + Coke
The next three days we’ll be bringing snow and good cheer to downtown Los Angeles for Train and Coca-Cola’s “Shake Up Christmas” single. With a quick turnaround this one should be released just in time for the holidays. On set photos to come…

Flying to Miami for Juanes music video
What’s this? Two updates in one night?! I was lagging on regular blog updates so here’s a double whammy. I’m flying out to Miami tomorrow AM to film a music video for Latin superstar Juanes. Over 15 million albums sold, and 17 Grammys don’t lie. Keep an eye out for onset photos from our two night shoot when I return to LA.
Coheed & Cambria Film Finished
Good news, I just delivered an ambitious film project for Sony Music artist Coheed & Cambria. Shot across 3 days in the desert, I’m very proud of this one. I have to stay pretty tight lipped until it’s release, but it’s a large departure from your usual music video format. All narrative, dialogue, and…stay tuned for photos and updates.

Heading to NY to shoot WildAid commercial.
I’m flying to NY for a week to shoot a commercial for WildAid (www.wildaid.org). Really great organization. Can’t say too much about the piece yet but expect it to hit the airwaves on CBS, NBC, CNN, CNN International, Nat Geo Worldwide, etc.
Ahh NY. I better start training my stomach to switch from burritos to pizzas.

3D Film for Panasonic
I’m off to shoot a 3D film for Panasonic to promote their new television technology. Keep an eye out for travel pics and on set stills. NYC -> Tokyo -> London.
Glasvegas Pictured Locked
We just locked picture on Glasvegas yesterday. It came together beautifully. Now on to the color correction and a final audio mix. I’ll post the video as soon as it’s released. Pinky swear.

R.I.P. Kodachrome →
It’s a sad day for any photography enthusiasts. Koda has once and for all ceased production on their Kodachrome stock. My very first movies were shot on Super8mm Kodachrome stock at age 7. There’s something about the saturated colors and surreal hues that I haven’t found in any other stock. R.I.P. good friend, you will be missed.
Back From Zion
Just got back from a relaxing four day trip in Utah’s Zion National Park. I even won back my gas money at the slot machines in Mesquite Nevada. Not bad, not bad at all. Pics posting to Facebook.
